Hosting and server logs

This website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested and your browser type, in order to deliver the site securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure service under Art 6(1)(f) GDPR. The transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses under Art 46(2)(c) GDPR.

Email mailbox

Our mailbox office@grundweg.at is operated by Ledl.net GmbH & Co KG (trading as “alldomains.hosting”), Lederergasse 6, A-5204 Strasswalchen, Austria. The servers are located in Munich, Germany, and therefore within the EU – no transfer to a third country takes place. Every email you send us arrives there, as does the notification from the contact form, and it remains stored there until we delete it. Ledl.net processes this data exclusively on our behalf and according to our instructions. The legal basis is the initiation of a contract under Art 6(1)(b) GDPR, or for general correspondence our legitimate interest in being reachable under Art 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact form

Using the contact form on this site, you can send us your name, email address, optionally the package you are interested in, and your message. On submission, this information is transmitted to our website infrastructure at Cloudflare and forwarded from there via Cloudflare Email Service directly to our mailbox office@grundweg.at – for the provider of that mailbox, see “Email mailbox” above. No third-party form service is used. A field that is invisible to you serves solely to deter spam (bots fill it in, humans never see it) and is used for nothing else. Alternatively you can still write to us by ordinary email; a link then opens your own email programme with a pre-filled draft, and nothing is transmitted automatically until you send it yourself. In both cases we process the information you provide only in order to answer your enquiry and prepare a possible project. The legal basis is the initiation of a contract under Art 6(1)(b) GDPR, and additionally, for the technical delivery via Cloudflare, our legitimate interest in a working means of contact under Art 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep this data for as long as it is needed for handling your enquiry and any resulting collaboration, and delete it afterwards unless statutory retention periods apply.

Spam protection on the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To prevent the contact form from being misused by automated programmes, it is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare evaluates technical characteristics of your visit – such as details reported by your browser and your behaviour on the page – and determines whether the request comes from a human being. In most cases you will not notice anything; only in doubtful cases does a checkbox appear. Turnstile does not set any cookies for recognition purposes and does not build a profile of you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the form functional and free from misuse, under Art 6(1)(f) GDPR. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc. – as for the hosting above; the same Standard Contractual Clauses apply to the transfer to the USA.

Local storage in your browser

This site stores your own choice of light/dark mode and language locally in your browser (local storage), so that it is still there on your next visit. Only what you have actively changed is stored – no identifier is created that would make you recognisable. This information never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to anyone. As technically necessary storage, no consent is required for this under § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021).

If you have set a dark display mode in your operating system, the site follows that setting on your first visit. This setting is merely read, in the same way your window size is read in order to display the page appropriately – it is neither stored nor transmitted.

Cookies, tracking and analytics tools

This website currently uses no cookies, no analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), no marketing pixels and no embedded third-party content. No tracking takes place. Should this change in future, we will update this policy and, where legally required, obtain your consent beforehand by means of a cookie notice.

Your rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise these rights, please contact office@grundweg.at. If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: dsb.gv.at.

Please note: this page is a draft and will be completed with the final postal address before the site goes live. This policy will be updated as soon as the functionality of the site changes, for example if an analytics or marketing service is added. Last updated: 2026.
